When crime kingpin Kranski (Golden Globe winner Donald Sutherland) hears that his favourite operative, the highly-skilled car-thief Vince, (Rossif Sutherland) is out on parole, he wastes no time bringing him back into the auto-heist fold. Vince is determined to leave his life of crime behind and when sexy art dealer Belinda (Rebecca Romijn) discovers his talent for metal sculpture, he becomes an overnight success. However Kranski's not giving up his protogé easily and Vince agrees to do one last big heist to free himself from Kranski's grip. But Vince is about to learn that freedom comes at a price and that even the greatest of craftsmen can get conned.
